We have completed our analysis on apprenticeships at level 3 and level 5. From September, employers have been able to enrol employees with training providers to qualify as a paralegal or advanced paralegal. We continue to work with stakeholders to critically assess the need for a solicitor apprenticeship.

I will look for a positive, constructive relationship with the new Government, founded on respect for the devolution settlement. I will ensure that our own priorities are clearly articulated and understood. In turn, the UK Government must demonstrate that it will enter into genuine dialogue on matters of shared interest.
