The UK Government’s proposed great repeal Bill threatens to undo the constitutional settlement of Wales entirely, including Welsh Government powers over issues that are devolved, such as agriculture. Following the vote yesterday in this place on the debate on triggering article 50, the road ahead is clear for an EU continuation Bill for Wales. Do you agree that a continuation Bill is necessary in order to ensure that the Welsh Government will have the powers to develop the agricultural sector in Wales, as can happen at the moment under our current devolved settlement? Do you also agree that a continuation Bill would prevent the Tories in Westminster from undertaking a power grab from our national Parliament?
