A wnaiff y Prif Weinidog ddatganiad am gyflenwi a chyflwyno'r brechlyn COVID-19 yng Ngorllewin De Cymru?

Bydd dros 14,000 o ddosau o frechlyn coronafeirws yn cael eu darparu i Orllewin De Cymru yr wythnos hon. Byddant yn cael eu darparu mewn pump o brif ganolfannau brechu a 36 o bractisau meddygon teulu. Erbyn dechrau'r wythnos nesaf, bydd 23 o bractisau eraill yn gallu archebu a defnyddio'r brechlynnau.

We recognise the pandemic is having the greatest impact on some of our most vulnerable and disadvantaged learners. That is why we continue to provide additional investment to ensure all learners have equal access to an education whatever their background or circumstances.

A further £450 million is being made available through the economic resilience fund to support businesses affected by the current changes to the regulations. This includes a £180 million specific fund targeted at hospitality and tourism businesses.  Self-catering businesses will be eligible for this additional funding provided they meet the necessary criteria.

An additional £1.5 million has been provided to HEFCW to support students who graduate during the pandemic to start their careers. This will complement the existing ESF-funded GO Wales programme, which supports young HE students to secure quality work experience. This funding builds upon the additional £27 million provided to universities to mitigate the impact of the pandemic and £10 million to support student health and well-being.

For the period 16 December-6 January, data provided by Public Health Wales shows that, in Bridgend, there were 41 confirmed cases amongst pupils in primary school and 60 confirmed cases amongst primary school staff. Seventeen childcare and play settings in Bridgend have informed Care Inspectorate Wales of confirmed cases.
